Aoife and Jason’s story is memorable, considering he met and knew her entire family before he ever saw and fell in love with Aoife! After years living in Brighton with his friend Emer, Aoife’s big sister – Jason eventually met Aoife and fell in love instantly. He later moved to Ireland to be with her, where they now live with their son, Odhran.
Their enchanting wedding ceremony was performed under the Yews at Lisnavagh House & Gardens, with handwritten vows and friends’ acoustic music filling the air. The couple wanted their vows to be made close to nature, a dream realised in these superb grounds and the majestic stately home looming large. Adding to the lovely personal vibe of their day, the couple were married by Aoife’s uncle Noel, who presided as officiant for the occasion. This was just one of many deeply personal touches they made their own.
Breaking tradition, Aoife had proposed to Jason with some expert help from their adorable little boy, Odhran, and a persuasive video asking if Jason would “make mummy very happy.” Their joy of their wedding day was made even more magical thanks to Odhran’s sheer exuberance and delight.
